Honest Reviews of
Sports Betting Systems & Services
All Personally
Tested by professional bettor John Morrison of
SportsBettingChamp.com
My name is John Morrison, statistics
doctor, professional bettor, and proud creator of the Champion
Sports Betting Systems at
SportsBettingChamp.com. As a betting
enthusiast of over 20 years, I've had the chance to test out countless systems and
handicapping services from professionals in the industry. My
experience has taught me that worthless systems and services offered in the
market are practically a dime in a dozen.
My goal in creating this website is to give you my
personal, honest-to-goodness opinion of the systems and handicapping
services that I've tried in the past. What you can expect are
truthful, candid reviews that will expose the genuine quality of
each service.
I consider my reputation to be of the
highest importance, therefore you can rest assured that any product
or service that I recommend to you are top-notch. I would never put
my recommendation in anything that isn't worthwhile. Likewise, I
won't play "nice guy" to any service that I believe is flawed. My
goal is steering you clear away from wasting your money like I did
on useless products.
Below are my personal reviews of the betting systems and
handicapping services I've tested. This page will be updated
regularly as I test out more products and services:

My
comments:
Doc Sports have been around since 1971. The truth is,
sports handicappers who don't win usually don't stay in business for
very long. The fact that they've been around for such a long stretch
gave me a definite confidence boost.
Doc is nicknamed the
undisputed "King of the Big Ten" and is one of the most well-known names in the
industry. As a
professional sports bettor, it's no surprise that I've been
personally testing
his services over quite a broad period of time.
His MLB picks have a
poorer strike rate in comparison to the other sports throughout
the time that I've tested out his picks. The reason for this
would partly be because his picks are based on underdogs with
favorable odds. In the end I was
still up by a good margin on his baseball picks due to the underdogs
odds advantage..
The doc specializes in
handicapping American football. I started monitoring his NFL picks
in detail since December of 2007. His picks went 22 wins to just 5 losses
in the time I monitored it. Impressive, to say the least!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is a recap of the results I've had with the doc since I began
to monitor his picks:
NFL Football:
22 wins - 5 losses (81.5%
win) between December 2007 to the end of the 2007-08 NFL season,
including a 17-3 run for the last 20 picks. This is the most
impressive performance I've seen in football handicapping!
NBA Basketball:
140 wins - 104 losses (57.4%
win) for the 2007-08 NBA season.
MLB Baseball:
75 wins - 74 losses (50.3%
win) between the start of the 2008 MLB season to the end of August
2008. - Note: since the picks were mostly on underdogs with
favorable odds, I was still up by over 15 units of wins overall.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In summary, my results
from doc's picks have been very satisfactory. I've monitored his
picks for a year and the winnings from them are phenomenal. In an
industry that is less
than perfect, the doc comes through with my seal of approval for his
solid results. Recommended to all.

My
comments: The "Bookie Buster"
system is one of the few products that I genuinely enjoy. There is a
wealth of tremendously useful information in the product for betting
beginners to experts alike. The systems outlined are easy to grasp,
and with proper application it's a powerful tool that will allow you
to grow your bankroll remarkably. The premium picks that come with
the purchase have yielded a net win of +13.6 units over the 8 weeks
that I have monitored the selections.
Overall,
a good product.

Easy Money Betting System

My
comments:
I thought that the
basics of the system are quite reasonable. One issue I want to bring
up is that I have not been successful in getting the prices to be as
good as the results shown in the system. The concept of the system
seems rational, but the real challenge would be if it can produce
solid results.
I’ve personally placed many bets based on the system to verify its
accuracy. The first 8 weeks showed a surprising turn of profits. At
$100 wagers I had managed a profit margin of $780 at the end.
However, after the 8th week began a run of very bad results. Out of
20 wagers, I was able to scoop up a win in just 9 of them. This
included a losing streak of 8. An unlucky bad run is possible, but
after testing the system for a further 12 weeks I’ve come to the
conclusion that the system is too inconsistent for it to be
classified as anything more than average.

Betting Profits Formula

My
comments:
The
Betting Profits Formula product has been one of the most
aggressively marketed products that I've seen. There are nearly 200
pages worth of information to be read. What the product is is a
compilation of numerous systems. This can easily
turn into an information overload for the reader. I had no idea
where to begin with all the information presented.
I would
have loved to test out the systems in this product, however the fact
that there are so many of them make it impractical for me to give
all of them a detailed assessment. Some of the systems here may
work, some won't. However it's a decent start that can give you a
lot of great ideas.
The price
of the product is steep, currently going at $200+ a pop. I would
hand out a better rating if it was around $50. It does contain a
boatload information, but I personally don't think it is worth the
$200 asking price.

Betting System Maximizer - view it by

My
comments:
The Bet
Maximizer tool was, interestingly enough, designed for the purpose
of wagering under the SportsBettingChamp system. It's a basic tool
that allows you to improve your money management on the 3-game
series wagers. Although it can be useful, I don't think that it is
that necessary to use this tool for better money management. Some
simple math and discipline is enough to manage your bankroll.
Furthermore, the tool does lack some features which I wish would be
implemented, such as better customization for advanced users. The
manual is also not very detailed, and you might be spending a bit of
time figuring out how to use the tool properly. On the plus side,
the author does provide free updates, and his customer service has
definitely been one of the better ones that I've encountered.

My
comments:
This product has not yielded profits for me during the
time that I paper traded using the signals outlined in the manual.
Although the eBook is 38 pages long, I only found 5 pages containing
actual useful information. Those who are not used to soccer and
betting on soccer will have a difficult time grasping all the
aspects of the signals in the guide. Furthermore, getting good
support from them has been one of the tougher ones that I've dealt
with.

My
comments: I've been carefully
monitoring Frank's PLS picks service for some time. How it works is Frank will provide you with 1 pick
per day for the entire span of the MLB season. You will always be
betting on the -1.5 run line on the team that he picks out. This
would always results in very favorable odds. The average odds for
each game is +121, so you can expect to win $121 for each $100 you
wager on average.
The first 6 weeks of my monitoring
process was okay, however
his picks did not stand the test of time. After a decent run, I couldn't manage to
get any units of win over the next month, and there were spans of
time when the picks were on a long losing streak. I decided to stop
the monitoring process after the 24th week. The last 18 weeks of my
monitoring process resulted in 51 wins and 72 losses. Even at
average odds of +121 I was still down.
In conclusion, I'd rate this to be a
disaster. Not recommended.

The Racing Investment Formula

My
comments:
The
Racing Investment Formula is one of the worst products I've come
across. The formula outlined is practically useless.
The concept of the system is about placing wagers on horses that the
public believe will win. The truth is, that doesn't really make any
difference toward the effectiveness of your bet. The materials are
way too basic, and formula has no value. My advice: stay away!
